March 13, 2016 – Government’s Inspection Team has banned the production and two sauce industries and one chaumin industry. Food Technology and Quality Control Ofice Rupandehi, Bhairahawa, after continuous supervision for two days, has banned the two industries registered without license. The industries were also found low-standard. The officials have banned the production of Hari Prasad Gyali’s Jharana Sauce Industry located at New-Chappar-Vatti, Shankarnagar-1, Rupandehi; accordingly, Tara Shrestha’s Tara Sauce Industry located at Makrahar VDC- 9, Bijayanagar; and accordingly, Ganga Chaumin and Sauce Industry located at Devdatta – 2, Rupandehi.
According to the Food Inspector of Food Technology and Quality Control Office, Bhairahawa Mr. Shrawan Dhungana, even minimum standard had not been fulfilled; so the owners would be punished. First of all, unhygienic, dirty, vulnerable to diseases; if other qualities were good also, the products are not hygienic. This place is not suitable for the industry; then, it does not meet the standard.
